GMP services

Your EU-GMP release point for Europe.

Turnkey GMP processing with a single quality management system in Prague, and your product is market-ready across Europe.

If you grow or manufacture cannabis outside the European Union, the constraint is rarely demand. It is release. Product cannot reach a European pharmacy until a Qualified Person inside the Union has certified the batch against EU-GMP.

Motagon is that release point. We hold both parts of the framework, so we can take your material as an active substance or as a finished medicinal product, and we hold the storage, narcotics and distribution licences that come after it. You keep your brand, your pricing and your customer relationships. We run the regulated infrastructure behind them.

Three-stage supply chain. Stage one: sourcing from growers across North America, Europe, Africa, and Australia and New Zealand. Stage two, in Prague: EU-GMP processing (drying, trimming and repacking, from Q2 2027), EU-GMP Part II release of active substance and EU-GMP Part I release of finished product, under Qualified Person release with GDP and narcotics licences. Stage three, end markets: Germany, the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Both authorisations are published on the European Medicines Agency’s EudraGMDP database. See our licences.

Your brand stays yours

Motagon sells its own Mota® brand and distributes third-party brands. If you are handing us your product, you are entitled to know how that is kept apart.

  • Commercial separation

Your pricing, volumes, customer list and launch plans are not visible to the team that sells Mota®. Access is restricted at system level, not by convention.

  • Physical segregation

Your stock is held under your ownership, identified to your batch, and quarantined separately from released goods. It is never pooled with ours.

  • Written into the agreement

Confidentiality, non-solicitation and data handling are set out in the contract before any material moves, alongside the Technical Quality Agreement.

How an engagement starts

  1. Scoping call. What you produce, where it is grown, which markets you are aiming at, and which of the GMP services you actually need.
  2. Documentation exchange. Your GMP or GACP status, specifications, stability data and analytical methods, against our licensed scope.
  3. Technical Quality Agreement. Specification, testing schedule, shelf life and responsibilities, signed by both quality units.
  4. First shipment and release. Import permit, goods-in, quarantine, testing, certification, release.

We will tell you early if we are not the right partner. That is cheaper for both of us than finding out in month six.
